Girls Trip September 2012
What has become our annual girl's trip in September was so much fun! Nothing like getting some r and r with your girlfriends!!

Josh and Music
My boy loves music. He has taught himself to play the guitar, he is still playing the piano and his tenor sax and he has added the berry, alto and soprano saxes to his repertoire. He plays with the Hoover High School football band, Hoover Competition Band, Hoover Symphonic Band and the Hoover Jam, which is a Jazz band.

Anni dropped Josh off for his first day of 9th grade and Hoover High School/
Hawaii
We took Anni to Kauai for her graduation present. My Naji was not able to go but he made sure his family had a good trip. We headed to catch our plane in Atlanta on July 4th and celebrated there. Then caught our plane on the 5th.

Snow Boarding
Last year Josh mastered snow skiing, and this year we went to Beech Mountain and he learned how to snow board and was up on the black diamond trails within an hour. To be young and learn things so quickly!!

Our little girl is growing up
Anni is a senior...hard to believe. We are so proud of her, she is growing up to be a nice young lady. She was accepted to Montevallo which is where she wants to go. She loves photography and so far is planning to study that. She is also interested in psychology. Please pray for her as she begins her journey as, uuhhh, hard to even type...a woman.

UAB Honor Band
Josh made the UAB Honor band. Out of 600 that tried out, 300 made it. Of those he made gold band, 1st chair. So proud of our boy!

Class of 2012
Can you believe she is a senior, I'm so proud of my little girl who is not so little to anyone but me anymore. Anni is still loving photography. She has a Facebook page where she posts some of her work, she definitely has a good eye for pictures. If you have jobs for her, let her know!! :) She wants to go to Montevallo and study photography and something else?? Maybe education or psychology. The jury is still out. Help me pray for her that she has nothing but happiness on her venture into the world.
Sax
Josh is still loving the saxophone, he made the jazz band again this year, is sitting 1st chair, and won awards at the end of last school year for football and jazz band. He also made the UAB Honor band. He's growing up into a nice young man! I'm so proud of him!

My hard working husband opened our 2nd restaurant this year, I'm so proud of him! family and friends celebrated with us before the doors officially opened.
Fishin
With the help of his Uncle Kirk and lots of patience, Josh finally catches his first Bass at Lay Lake, we spent most of the summer at the lake this year and loved every minute of it!
Spring Break 2011
I went on what's become an annual trip with my best girlfriends and two of my brothers to Fort Walton. The main event was Andy winning the grand prize at the Pub Crawl! Life is definitely good spending time with people I love!
Anni Prom
Anni went with a boy named Brendon to her 2011 Prom. They had a wonderful time and she looked beautiful. We went to Morris Avenue in Birmingham to take pictures before the big night!

Anni
Anni has been getting into photography this year, she wanted me to post a couple of her pictures. One is of a band named Black River Wine. She has switched from taking violin lessons to guitar and is really enjoying it. She is very creative!!
